Northeast Counseling Services is a full-service community mental health center available to residents of central and southern Luzerne County, Pennsylvania and beyond. Through a coordinated system of care at facilities in Hazleton and Nanticoke, the center ascribes to Recovery principles in offering services for adults, adolescents, and children experiencing behavioral and psychiatric difficulties. Founded in 1972, Northeast Counseling Services is a private-non-profit corporation governed by a community-based board of directors.
